Job hunting is repetitive: read the ad, work out what the employer actually wants, compare it to your own CV, and write a fresh cover letter for every application. It takes time and turns into guesswork about how well you really match.

The goal was a tool that does the interpreting and writing in seconds, without the user having to create an account or hand over their data.

JobbSynk is a Next.js app where you paste a job ad (link or text) and upload your CV as PDF, DOCX, or TXT. OpenAI analyzes how well the CV matches the ad, highlights strengths and gaps, and generates a cover letter tailored to that specific role in around 28 seconds on average. Meilisearch provides lightning-fast search across the data.

Privacy is built in: no cookies, no analytics, all data is stored temporarily in the browser's LocalStorage and cached for just five minutes. So far over 689 CVs have been analyzed and 93% of users gave it a thumbs up.
