Alkama AB manufactures professional cleaning chemicals in its own factory in Stockholm and has built a loyal base of business customers across Sweden, Norway, and Finland since 2004. Their business has a clear logic: every customer has their own negotiated prices, an order is a request that gets confirmed and invoiced in Visma, and safety data sheets (REACH) must be available in each market's language.

They wanted a site built exactly around that logic. One where customers log in and see their own prices, place orders whenever it suits them, and always find the right document, and that Alkama can run and grow with themselves.

The goal was clear: a system that mirrors how Alkama actually sells, across all their markets, built to last for years.

We built a custom system from the ground up: a public marketing site, a logged-in customer portal, and an admin panel in one and the same tool, in four languages. Alkama edits all the content themselves, without having to call us.

A logged-in customer sees their own negotiated price, and the price is locked at order time so the order history can never be changed after the fact. An order is treated as a request that Alkama confirms and invoices in Visma, never a card payment, exactly how their business really works.

We put heavy weight on peace of mind: a customer can never see another customer's orders, even if something were to go wrong in the code. Order confirmations arrive within five seconds, everything is stored securely inside the EU (GDPR), and the right safety data sheet is always shown in the right market's language.

The result: Alkama now runs their entire Nordic sales operation from one single tool they control themselves, in Swedish, English, Norwegian, and Finnish.
